Context & objective
In Fall 2024, I served as a founding board member of Product Space at UC Davis, a club focused on product management and innovation. Recognizing that UC Davis students were already engaged in various tech clubs, my goal was to create a distinct brand identity that would resonate with students interested in the intersection of technology, business, and user-centered design. Through strategic positioning and targeted outreach, we successfully distinguished Product Space from existing technical organizations - attracting 100+ applicants by the end of recruitment week.
Graphics
During the weeks leading up to our application deadline, Product Space @ UC Davis hosted several events - an info session introducing students to the club, followed by an internship panel where industry professionals shared career insights. To build community, we organized a frozen yogurt fundraiser that doubled as a networking social. Recruitment ended with an interactive product demo speed session, where students gained hands-on experience with product thinking. To market these events, we took to Instagram.
